MARTIN « DEE » GRANGER

7D6 is an artist and music creator with multiple identities : singer-songwriter, DJ, producer, composer and hyperactive multi-instrumentalist. He is also the lead singer of the band, Patiently Awaiting The Meteorite, whose debut album Canyon Diablo was released to critical acclaim in
May 2018. He is a prolific creator with a fertile imagination.

7D6 is Martin Dee Granger. Granger was born and raised in the Outaouais region of Canada. In the mid 90’s. He moved to Montreal to study at Musitechnic, starting his career in the Montreal music scene.

His body of commercial work includes original music placements in the TV series Grey’s Anatomy, One Tree Hill, Six Feet Under, Law & Order, and Ugly Betty. His compositions can be found in numerous TV commercials worldwide, from Subway’s famous ad, 12 inches 5 dollars, to the Ford Edge ads during the Super Bowl. Granger has released 4 studio albums under his moniker, Dee. He has toured internationally and performed at premier Canadian festivals like the Montreal Jazz Festival, Canadian Music Week, and North by Northeast.

7D6 is Granger’s newest project as author, composer and performer. The album, Time to Be, will be released throughout 2021 in a series of singles with each release accompanied by a video directed by Reda Enan.

Everything starts from an idea, a few notes, a sound. 7D6 works in his own studio, works on the mix and creates a particular and universal universe that is his but that touches everyone. Jocelyn Tellier on electric guitar and Antoine Pomerleau-Anctil on drums undeniably complete the final texture of each song.
